Simple Sewing: 10 + Zipper & Non Zipper Pouches Diy & Tutorials Round-Up
I decided to do a round-up of sewing projects. These are tutorials for zipper pouches and non zipper pouches. I love zipper pouches. They are a good way to practice basic sewing techniques. You can learn how to add a zipper to a project. Trust me if I can do it you can do it! It just takes patience and courage. You will learn how to change your foot clamp on your machine to a zipper foot if needed. I hope you give any of these tutorial/diy’s a try! If your nervous about putting in a zipper I have included some non zippered pouch tutorials too.
The great thing about these sewing projects / tutorials and diy’s is you can change them to fit your size needs. All basic, straight and slightly curved corners nothing overly complicated. Perfect for beginning sewing and refreshing your sewing skills. Pouches are great for organizing purses, travel, jewelry, phone cases & diapers/wipes. And once you learn how to make these sewing projects they are so easy to adapt.

Here is a zipper pouch diy with how to create your own design with markers on fabric from me in case you missed it! I am going to tackle making a bigger zippered pouch. My older daughter Krissy who just had a baby now has two in diapers. I made her a zippered bag with easy grab for going. Her hands are full so to speak in more ways than one! Anything to make her able to get on the run easier is always helpful. If your a mom you know that there are just times when you need the basics, like dropping older ones to school or a quick dash to the store. No one wants to get caught unprepared for you know….those moments. It’s great to have just what you need, the basics. Here are a couple I found just in case you’d like to make one for yourself or someone.
