Coffee lovers it’s that time again where I’m sharing all things coffee drinks, tea drinks and Starbucks Coffee that’s popping up for late spring into summer! I love my coffee now more than ever but, with that said I’m starting back to my mid day iced tea binges too. Some days I want to indulge in coffee all day long but, then I know that’s not the best thing for me. That’s when a good tea or iced tea is nice to have. Ya, know what I mean?
I love a good black tea for pick me ups. I’m going to show you how to make an iced chai tea drink that will be so yummy for sipping anytime, even on your patios. Bonus, it’s so simple to make! Of course I’m not leaving my coffee lovers out. I have some yummy finds for you this month too! Which happen to include a few of our favorites. Sip, sip!
First off I do enjoy Starbucks Tazo Chai Classic tea for iced teas because it has caffeine. Although, my favorite all time tea from Starbucks has been Peach Tranquility but, it’s caffeine free and not my mid day pick me up tea. Peach Tranquility is an herbal infusion unveiling a medley of juicy peach, light citrus and floral undertones. I’ve been drinking it all winter in the afternoons with, steamed soy on top. Yummy, perfect for anyone looking for a non caffeine drink.
For making iced tea Tazo Chai Classic is perfect! With it’s mix of black tea and flavorful blend, to give you that day time boost! Hands down use the Tazo chai classic tea! Let me show you how I make this Iced Chai Tea With Soy for an Iced Chai Latte. (You can swap out the soy for other milks.)

Iced Chai Tea Latte
Grab: One tea or coffee cup, two chai tea bags and add half a cup of hot water. I just used my Keurig on the smallest water setting. (about 6 oz.)
Next let the chai tea steep in the water at least 3-5 minutes until it’s nice and dark. And let it cool down.
In the mean time, add ice to two ice tea glasses for your drinks and grab your favorite soy, almond milk, a2Milk or other milk.
Then, split the steeped Tazo Chai Tea, pouring it into each glass. Next, pour your favorite soy or milk over the top (3/4 full) leaving room for a bit more ice to finish it off.
These drinks are perfect for when your visiting with a friend. Or just to savor and sip slowly by yourself. If serving your drinks: Add your drinks to a tray with cloth napkins, straws, flowers in a pretty mason jar then, take it outside for some sun, conversation and sipping! Now, if you’d like this a little sweeter add a touch of honey or brown sugar, prior to adding it into the ice for best mixing results.
Starbucks Tazo Chai Classic tea is a robust blend of black tea with cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and spices. It has all the necessary spices in the tea bags to make this flavorful iced drink at home! Or steep it and drink it hot in the mornings if your not a coffee drinker but, still want a caffeine boost.

Hello, sunshine! I am so happy your back! I love sunny mornings in my kitchen again! Don’t you?? In the mornings I love brewing up a cup or two of Pikes Place coffee beans. Have you tried these coffee beans?? A medium blend of coffee beans that are so flavorful. Well-rounded with subtle notes of cocoa and toasted nuts balancing the smooth mouthfeel. And also available in decaf.

Be sure to visit Starbucks in their retail outlets or online to see all the latest offerings from the mini Frappuccino’s to their iced to go cups. My favorite new cup is their Pineapple 24 ounce iced cup! When we hit the retail stores Sammie’s drink favorites are their iced green tea and Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with raspberry added. I splurge on their iced Caramel Macchiato with soy.

Hi Aileen, Yes box mixes are nice too but, if you need soy, almond milk or another milk alternative it’s great to use tea bags for making Chai tea. Also you can sweeten or leave unsweetened vs. how the pre made comes made. Your welcome, glad you enjoyed the tips! See you again soon.
Chai tea is my favorite ever!! I drink hot chai tea in the winter, but never though of making iced chai.
