You don’t need a wok to cook a Chinese chicken dinner at home. This chicken stir-fry with green beans is made in a non-stick pan but, can be made in a wok.

Asian Chicken and Green Beans
You don’t need a wok to make stir fry but they are nice to own and cook in.
With a few simple steps, you will have a delicious chicken and green beans Asian-style dinner. Equipment: Non-stick skillet, wooden spoon, chef knife, cutting board, mixing bowl, fork or tongs, and a grater.
First, cook the green beans and (optional) shredded carrots. Cook chicken marinated in spices and Hoisin sauce. Combine and serve with cooked white or Jasmine rice. Get the ingredient list and follow the directions below.

- Serves 3-4 – Easily Doubled (but you need a bigger pan).
Chicken and Green Beans Stir Fry

Ingredients
- 2- large Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless and thick)
- 1 Package of Green Beans
- 4 ounces of Shredded Carrots (optional)
- Olive Oil
- Hoisin Sauce
- Ground Ginger
- Garlic Powder
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Salt and Pepper
- Rice (White or Jasmine)
- Soy Sauce (optional)
Directions
- In a pot prepare the rice according to the directions on the package.
- Cut the chicken into strips. Add the chicken to a bowl.
- Add the spices (about 1/2 teaspoon of each spice and 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes) Add additional spices to your preference. Stir together and add 2 Tablespoons of Hoisin sauce and stir again. Set to the side until needed.
- Add the spices and 2-3 Tablespoons of olive oil into a nonstick pan. Then add the (trimmed) green beans and shredded carrots. Stir occasionally for 5 minutes.
- Move the green beans to the side, add the chicken, and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. Stir and continue to cook for another 2 minutes. Combine with the green beans and cook a few minutes more.
- Add 3-Tablespoons (or more) of the Hoisin Sauce. When the chicken reaches 165F it is ready to serve with the steamed rice.

Notes
How To Double The Recipe
This recipe can easily be doubled! Double all the ingredients - Cook it in an extra large pan. Or cook the green beans and set them to the side in a bowl (cover) after stir-frying. Stir-fry the chicken until done and then combine the green beans and chicken finish off with more sauce and serve!
