Well, let’s get started. All you are going to need is a few ingredients: fresh French bread baguette, a good goat cheese, organic honey such as sweet orange blossom, and La Victoria®’s Mango Habanero Salsa.
Mango Habanero Salsa is a delicious blend of sweet and spicy! It’s perfect as a stand-alone appetizer too, for all you sweet/spicy flavor seekers. You almost don’t need the honey. But, I think the three ingredients topping the French bread just give it the perfect flavor profile that anyone will love. Let’s make this mango habanero salsa recipe!
How to make Bruschetta
Prepare your french bread or baguette
Traditionally the baguette is toasted or grilled. You do this by brushing the French bread with olive oil and toasting it at a high temperature such as between 425-450 degrees. You need to watch it and pull them out when crispy.
Slice your French Bread Baguette
But, where I live where it gets sweltering outside in the summer. I just skip that part unless it’s cool outside. If you are going to skip the toasting be sure to use freshly purchased French bread. Slice your baguette up into as many pieces as you need.
- If toasting, brush on a little olive oil and toast in the oven according to the directions on the recipe card and as mentioned above.
Spread the soft cheese onto your baguette
Next, I just spread a really good goat cheese that is room temperature onto each piece. You can be more generous if you want.
Drizzle honey on top of your cheese
Then I drizzled just a little organic wild sweet orange honey on top of the goat cheese. Grab a clean spoon.
Add your mango salsa
Next just open your jar of Mango Habanero Salsa, using a clean spoon. Spoon on a good amount of your salsa to each baguette.
Put your bruschetta on the plate and garnish
Place your Mango Bruschetta onto a serving dish or appetizer plates. Garnish with some cilantro. Set out your cocktail napkins and serve.
Ready to serve with your favorite beverages
You will have this made in no time flat! An under 15-minute appetizer that will easily serve six. Double for more.
You can serve any type of beverages, vino, cocktails, ice tea, or even iced coffee.

Hi Jill, You might be surprised as its a mixture of the salsa with mango. We went through the jar so fast I can’t even remember the other ingredients but, yum! I am planning on trying to make a few other types of recipes incorporating the salsa we liked it that much.
