Vidalia Chop Wizard - Chop Your Kitchen Prep Time In

For today’s recipe we tried out the Vidalia Chop Wizard, As Seen On TV. I liked how it chopped up the red bell pepper, jalapeno, green onions all the fruits and veggies uniformly. It is super easy to use and clean. It comes with a scrapping tool that gets in the tough spaces to clean, which is super. It is dishwasher safe.

What was a little tricky was getting my red onion to chop with it. I think I’m not tall enough to give it the pressure it needed for chopping this item. I separated the layers a bit and then it worked fine for me. The other items no problem.

Benefits of using a chopper

Oh, I like how you don’t cry cutting onions! If you have a small baby in the room sometimes when your chopping at the end it will make a loud noise when pressed down quickly. No biggie, just if a baby is sleeping it might startle them. Mom tip!

I like it and will find it handy for making my salsas. I also like that it has a measuring cup when you tilt it up you can see the amount you have chopped. This is handy for me when writing recipes.

I do like that it has two size cutting blades in the chopper. I know I’ll be using this a lot for cucumbers, bell peppers, mushrooms and other salad ingredients especially as we head into spring and summer. There are two versions of this food chopper.

Have you ever used one? Have you seen their infomercial?? It’s an as seen on TV product. Well, that’s it for new kitchen gadgets in my kitchen. It really did making cutting fruits and veggies easy. I hope you enjoy making and eating the Mango Salsa with your favorite tortilla chips or use the recipe as a topping for fish or chicken, inside tacos or with enchiladas.
