Thanksgiving desserts
Dear Creatives, This year I am traveling to meet up with relatives on Thanksgiving and I was asked to make a dessert or two. I have been reading a few magazines, thumbing through old recipes & swooning over some new ones. I thought I would share what caught my eye today.
Nothing says Thanksgiving like pumpkin pie, right? But, I have to admit it is not my favorite pie. So in search of something to suit the occasion I went. This Autumn Delight Cake from Sweetapolita was a stand out, but could be a bit complex to make? {Sweet Potato & Ginger Layer Cake with Toasted Marshmallow Filling, Candied Pecans and Brown Sugar & Cinnamon Buttercream} I think it just may be worth giving it a try. From Bakers Royal I found this recipe for layers of pumpkin & vanilla pudding with praline crumble. This might be one of those easier recipes to put together in someone else’ s kitchen for Thanksgiving, but can not assembly more than 2 hours in advance. Pumpkin Praline Trifle recipe.
