Did I ever tell you my mom was from Texas? Yes, indeed she was and although it’s been a long time since I’ve been to Texas or even Mexico sometimes it’s a recipe that can take you back to those places. For me, it’s this a spin on the Chili Mac recipe! This recipe seriously makes me think of the summer we spent there with my grandma, oh so many years ago which has me reminiscing about my cousin’s barn dance and bullfrog catching with my cousins. Do you have a recipe that does that for you? Anyway back to the recipe, I think you’ll love it because it’s an easy recipe, your sneaking in some whole wheat pasta, it’s quick and easy to cook up, and bonus it’s pure Tex Mex goodness.

For my Chili Mac recipe, I put a spin on it by using whole wheat spaghetti noodles and  Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce. Now You can use traditional macaroni noodles, or even use just the chili recipe if you prefer. I won’t mind. Either way, this might just become your new #NewTraDish
