Dear Creatives, Happy Friday to you!! I have so many things coming up to share, but need some time to finish new little projects, take photos & edit to share them. But, I am going to share my pdf with you for a fun & easy craft tutorial later in the post.

We are full swing into summer here. Making a move to be more productive after a short breather while still trying to balance it all with kid under foot. Yesterday was not as hot so we attempted some crafting I am happy with what I am working on & can’t wait to share!! I Took Sammie for a little swim time, dinner & now writing this post for you.

Some things I want to blog about that I haven’t in awhile is fashion, beauty, decor & all things pretty! I can’t help myself. I often see so many things I like & although I can’t have them all a girl can dream right? The girl still inside me loves a good shopping trip to the city, a great cup of coffee from somewhere like my favorite place called Flying Goat & ending the day with a family meal.

Flipping through magazines while Sammie swims gets me dreaming. Sigh, it will be a while before we can travel to do that, but that is ok I have plenty to keep my busy. I actually prefer to travel away from where we live in July & August as it gets so hot here. { still looking for a few guest posters so if you are interested do email me so we can chat }

But because I post crafty & weekend inspiration on Fridays I will have to put that on hold for a bit. So for give me for going on…. I thought I would share a tid bit of my tutorial that I posted as a guest post not too long ago in case my newer followers missed it. You can still see the full post over at twoboysonegirlandacrazymom.com Here is an example of one of the pages from the pdf. (there is  clear written directions & large enough to see like my next photo)  This project can be adapted in so many ways!

You can copy above link code & use tutorial anytime I included the supply list & Steps! It is a pdf. You can even share, make your own &  blog it if you like as long as you link back. Here are the supplies you’ll need in a snapshot, but the full list & how to is on the tutorial it is easy to follow & full of photos.

This is a great project to do with kids too. Anyone call learn to collage. For one of the projects I used a comic book for images. You just need to be careful not to rip the pages when smoothing out. What I like is this is quick, easy & makes great gifts.You can pick up the wood at Hobby Lobby, Michaels or any Arts & Crafts shop.

Now today I am also featuring the blog Great Contradictions: The blog is meant to encourage others to live happy, healthy lives no matter what their circumstances are. I help to expand resources through reviews/giveaways, great deals, gluten free recipes, as well as exploring creative outlets. Gluten free living can be isolating, so let’s encourage further mainstream progress.

Great Contraditions shared a recipe for A Diy Chocolate Chip Frappe You might want to check it out & make one before you get started on your crafting. There is nothing like a great iced drink when its hot & your crafting! If you have something to link up crafty, recipe, diy….just drop in your link. I link back is always appreciated.

Have a wonderful weekend! PS if you are looking for red, white & blue crafting & party planning ideas or a super good turkey chili recipe be sure to see those posts prior to going.

What are your weekend plans?
