Easy Ways To Make Your Holiday Drinks Festive!
Today I’m sharing easy ideas to make your holiday drinks festive! We wait until Christmas eve to wrap our holiday gifts for putting under the tree for the kids. I used to tuck the little ones into bed, put on holiday movies, get my eggnog, and get wrapping. It’s a tradition that we have had for years. Now, I’m not saying all the gifts (I did that one year and about died! lol) but, enough to feel the spirit of giving.

I’ve always been somewhat of a night owl. What about you? We love having the holiday lights on, pretty wrapping papers, and sipping on eggnog drinks. Now, we all gather round in the evenings as the kids are older. But, our tradition remains the same. My older kids do this for their families too. These are just a few of the delights of the holiday season. #ShareYourDelight with me.
We anticipate the holidays each year. Then they seem to snowball and rush by. Does it seem that way to you?
I have a few simple ways to make your eggnog and hot chocolate drinks seem more festive. When family comes to visit during the Christmas season that has little ones, we still set out eggnog and cookies for Santa. I’m sure Santa enjoys that after working hard all year. Don’t you think?
Easy Holiday Drink Ideas
Holiday Traditions begin with festive drinks.
What’s great about this eggnog treat is it’s so easy!
You just pour the eggnog into the glass. I used International Delight. They have their originals, classic eggnog, and vanilla eggnog. Plus, so many more flavors to amping up your coffee drinks…I just love it when I find delicious eggnog flavoring that is just the right blend of flavors. Don’t you? International Delight has a creamy texture and tastes well, delightful.
The trick for getting whip cream perfect is making sure you chill the bowl prior to starting. Make sure your whipping cream is cold. Don’t add confectioners sugar or vanilla until after you whip up the heavy whipping cream and it peaks. After, add your whipping cream to your drink…..

Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the whipped cream. Now it, wouldn’t be Christmas without pairing your eggnog with some Snickerdoodle cookies. At least in our house, that is. While the children were sleeping all nestled in their beds Santa slipped a little something extra into his eggnog.
Then when his job was done he settled down for a long winter’s nap. At least until the kids were up the next day. If Santa needs to stay up add one cup of strong coffee, about a cup or so of eggnog. Then top with whip cream and sprinkles. Either way I guarantee Santa will be happy.
Speaking of coffee, here is where you can see all our coffee tips and coffee recipes. Perfect for when you are entertaining family and friends.

What are your favorite drinks for the holidays?
This was a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of International Delight. The opinions and text are all mine.
Egg Nog is my favorite holiday drink. But lately, I’ve been preferring the Vanilla kind. I think I’ll try this for my family!
Hi Stacie, The vanilla was really good. If you love vanilla I think you’ll love it. Hope you and your family have a lovely Christmas.
Yum! I love adding Kaluha or Baileys to my eggnog as well;-) Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Hi Joanna, My step mom made me homemade Kaluha. She’d been doing it for years. Great ideas if you enjoy a cocktail version. Merry Christmas.
Love the pictures! And I would have never thought to pair Eggnog and Snickerdoodles, but it sounds amazing together!
Hi Sara, Thanks for the compliment. Yummy for sure. Happy holidays.
