Something New To Love Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate #ReesesSpreads

We’ve tried a lot of different peanut butters and spreads over the years. I love having staples in our home for after school snacking, lunches and even to be prepared for the unexpected (we live in an earthquake area). Sammie isn’t fond of peanut butter, it’s just another thing my picky eater doesn’t like. I’m constantly trying new spreads to find one that she might love. Finally we found one! Have you seen the new Reese’s Spreads? We discovered the peanut butter chocolate #ReesesSpreads and it’s a hit. Let me tell you why we enjoyed it! 

It’s a smooth spread with a little graininess to it. You can use it as a spread for snacks, your toast, bagels or English muffins… and baking! I love keep a versatile spread on hand and super happy to find one that I can say the whole family loves! Today I’m sharing our review along with a few ways I used the spread including my oh, so yummy cookies.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate; 

You know how I love starting my mornings with a cup coffee or a latte it’s also important to eat a little something in the morning with it! 

First I decided to open the spread and see what was inside this jar of Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread! Creamy, with a little bit of graininess jar packed full. 

Next I decided to try it with was fruit as it was breakfast time and I’m trying to eat more fruits. I loved it, spreads easily with a mild chocolaty taste. I’m not a milk chocolate person so I was super glad I liked it. The combination of peanut butter and chocolate is oh, so yummy! 

Then I double toasted my whole wheat English muffin (I love my toast dark) and added the delicious spread directly on it. What you don’t see is me licking my fingers and washing my hands to take the photo. I mean I had to get every last bit off the spoon!

I had to try baking something with it. I love peanut butter cookie, Sammie does not. I decided to make them anyway I had a 50/50 chance she’d like them. When she came home from school she smelled the fresh cookies, came over and tried them. Guess what, she did love them when I substituted this spread for regular peanut butter. Double yummy goodness of chocolate and peanut butter. A hit with the picky eater. Next I’m thinking a peanut butter chocolate banana bread is what I’ll try with it.
