Easy Way To Frost Cupcakes!
How to frost funfetti cupcakes?
- Use the star tip (which will make the rose shape).
- Add the pre-made frosting into the Wilton Decorator Plus (or your pastry frosting bags).
- Start decorating the cupcakes from the outer edge going in and finish at the center by stopping pressure and lifting up. Or do the opposite as demonstrated in my video.
- This Pillsbury’s frosting was perfect to use with the cupcake decorating tool. It was soft and not stiff. If you have a stiffer pre-made frosting add it to a mixing bowl, add 1/4 cup up to 1/2 cup of butter and mix until softened. Start with the lesser amount and adjust as needed.
- Next, add the sprinkles. Then unwrap and add the chocolate bunnies right before serving.
If you pre-make the cupcakes store them in a cupcake storage container like this until you are ready to plate and serve the cupcakes. Keep in a cool place! Add the chocolate bunny candies before serving.
These funfetti cupcakes are moist and delicious!
I am not going to lie sometimes it’s just easier to whip up a cupcakes mix and use pre-made frosting to use for dessert. I know my family and grandkids love them just as much as my homemade cupcakes and other goodies. But, if you want to make them from scratch try this homemade funfetti cupcakes recipe. You can still use our tips for decorating them. Wink, wink.
