Next add your cake food coloring to the individual layers prior to baking, with your theme colors.
Use a different bowl for each color layer.
Pour your cakes into prepared baking pans.
Follow the baking time on your cake recipe you choose to use. (box or scratch)
NOTE: Always watch the cake in the last 10 minutes of the bake time. Each oven, altitude and other conditions make the fully bake time slightly different.
Remove from oven when the cake comes clean with a toothpick.
Let the cake cool at least 10 minutes or slightly more prior to removing from the cake pans.
Use a cake food coloring kit;
For a unicorn cake, pick your colored cake layers, and candies add a unicorn cake topper.
For a gender reveal cake add one layer of pink or blue or if there are twins pink/blue or blue/blue or pink/pink… and your themed baby shower cake topper (boy) (girl) (woodland theme) (princess crown). You get the idea.
For a jellybean-cake use any colored cake layers and any colored jelly beans.
For the Pinata-cake use bright colored jelly beans and cake layers colors to match your party theme.
