Mibblio Children’s App & #Review
Dear Creatives, I had the opportunity review the new Mibblio app. The app has stories that are illustrated, music to go along with it & some interactive features. I can’t wait to tell you all about the Mibblio app.
I don’t have a preschooler anymore, but one of my daughters does. I always love finding things to challenge Audrey, along with introduce more reading & music into her life. What is great about this app is that you can change what music if any plays in the story as it is being sang. The illustrations are vibrant with beautiful colors & the stories are fun. Kids can play along to the story or just listen.
& You don’t have to play the story if you just want the kids to interact with the music options. Home & story on left, story in the center with play option. On the bottom is a keyboard (each key is a bright color) & you can change instruments. On one side is the interactive string instruments that you can strum as if playing a real string instrument, there are various ones to pick from there too & drums. Mibblio is very easy to show your child how to use or to use with them. You can check out the video below to get a small sampling of what it is like.
My favorite story was Millie and Her Curling, Whirling Hair although this story was not in color ( & the only one not in color) the illustrations were so beautiful & the story was fun. I think every girl who has had or dreamed of having long hair would love this tale of curling, whirling hair. Audrey loved it as she has long hair & she is going to school for the first time this year. (I purchased this story since we enjoyed it so much)
The app is designed for ages 3-8 year olds, but I know younger kids will love it with help. Not only do you get the fun stories encouraging reading, you get interactive play instruments for lots of fun & exploration of music. This is a thumbs up! Each story is only $1.99 & the app. is free you can preview stories prior to purchasing. You can find the app at itunes just see link below video.

Sampling of the other stories; Wheels on the Bus, On Top of Spaghetti, Monkey Jamboree, Sunny Side Up…
I agree that they don’t always have to be in color to be fabulous. 🙂
Thanks for the review.
