Home Décor: Woodland Nursery Themed Ideas You’ll Love!
When it comes to nurseries I can’t get enough home décor inspiration. Honestly there are so many products to create the perfect space for your little one. Although, my days of little ones are done. I love helping brainstorm ideas for nurseries. I found out that my oldest daughter is due in September. This time they found out they are having another boy! Today, I have some woodland nursery ideas that are gender neutral.
I am a bit behind with getting my images sorted out from when I created a nursery mural for my son and his wife. I can’t wait to show you the mural I created for a nursery inspired on a wall décor sticker. Little Alaina’s room is so bright and cheery. Her room is also in a woodland theme. With deer, fox the tree mural I created with an owl and other little touches.

When my oldest daughter created her first nursery it was done in a woodland theme. They were renting in Brooklyn and used a woodland decal, which is a great option as they are easy to use and remove. Having a durable nursery fabric basket is a great way to store toys.

Small home décor touches are great when creating a happy space for your little ones:
- Woodland prints in your favorite animal
- Woodland wall décor stickers
- A series of woodland prints grouped together on one wall
- Hooks to hang your little ones jackets, bag or other items. Hang these in handy places such as by the door and by the changing table
- Gender neutral or gender specific wall décor such a fox with a floral crown or name hand painted in coordinated colors

For every nursery, storage and organization is important. You won’t have time hunting for items. I loved using baskets for socks, toys and even putting clothes by sizes they don’t fit into yet. If you have a tall dresser make sure to secure it to the wall, as they can be dangerous as children open and climb into them.
Other items I loved are pillows for the floor. The woodland themed mountain pillows are perfect for setting up a reading nook as your child grows. If you sew you can create a tee pee which is another great play / learn item to have. They can folded up and be stored too.
When they are newborn I loved having a mobile for the little ones. They get mesmerized by the color, movement and music. Just remove them from cribs prior to them being able to reach them.
What home décor nursery theme did you use? Or are you planning or helping plan?
