Dear Creatives, If you stay home this weekend I hope this affords you a little extra time for creative projects, diy, sewing and then time to barbeque. Be sure and enter your projects in Mr. Linky and get them noticed! You’ll have a  few days but the sooner the better! & be sure and tell your creative, crafty friends.

Here is the child’s apron & oven mitts I spoke of earlier in the week.

Apron has a detachable mitt that is fully lined

The apron is reversible and lined with eyelet

I made a larger size play oven mitts cotton print material on one side and heirloom natural cotton batting on the back. I made my own pattern for the oven mitts & apron. I am more of a crafty diy sewer than a pattern sewer. I will upload a downloadable mitt pattern for you. (soon)  If you are new to sewing it is super easy. Just make sure you allow yourself enough sewing edge and a little extra room for sliding hands in. I’ll put details and a few photos together. With all that was going on this week I didn’t get it done for you yet. Be sure and share your projects in Mr. Linky and join us in the community forum to meet other Dear Creatives! Sign up is at the top of blog for community.

Are you more of a crafty sewer who wings it or makes your own patterns or a sewer who sews with patterns?

Grab a button & share it if you like! & If you play along all I ask is you sign up to follow along~
