Here we are almost mid September & we are still having heat waves. I am like a horse chomping at the bit to heat up my oven especially with recipes like this! Sweet, a hint of lavendar & bits of grated lemon. Yes! Yes! Yes! Thanks to Sherry at TheCharmofHome we can all try this recipe, learn to make your own lavendar sugar & maybe soon have a fall afternoon tea time with these yummy cookies!

This diy was shared by TheKoenigsCreate. Jamie does the designing & Jason did the cutting this newly wed duo ended up with one cute welcome sign perfect for autumn! It looks pretty easy to make. If you have someone handy to cut one out or your handy with tools this is for you!
