Reading Chart -Printables Plus Editable PDF Versions
Well, Summer is almost here. You probably will want the kids to continue reading daily. Or use it as a way to keep them busy. Why not a summer reading challenge? It's a great way to keep them learning or enjoy downtime in the afternoon or evening. Especially after a busy day! Today I am sharing several versions of a reading chart.
Do you need something else to print? See all our free printables and printables for kids!
These are printable reading charts! I also made an editable version of the reading trackers to use online and then print. You can have the kids make their own reading goals, or you can make them with your kids.
Have them read books alone, or if they are younger, have them pick out books, and you can read. Then track the reading together. When I get together with the grandkids, I will read a few pages or a chapter, and then they will read a few pages or chapters, depending on their ages. Practicing reading out loud is a great skill.
Reading Chart

This is a 2-page printable reading tracker. There are spots to add the book title, author, and date, and a page for book notes. Set goals and track reading for the entire week. Start/End times, pages read, and notes. I think this 2-page printable is perfect for your bookworms!
This reading tracker is good for book challenges and tracking reading with kids! They make great printables for kids! Although I made this for the summer, these can be printed and used at any time of the year!

READING TRACKER
I have made three versions of the tracking chart in case you don't have access to working with PDF files. An editable PDF file, PDF format, or use the PNG files.
Let them write book notes for a book report or keep notes about why they loved the book.
Tips for Printing Printables
- Pick advanced settings on your printer.
- Print to fit the size of paper (and if needed, horizontal settings).
- Adjust the print size if needed and use Print preview to make sure it looks good before printing.
- The print version may vary slightly in color, but you can check your advanced color settings. Pick vibrant graphics or the best quality print.
