Hottest New Page Turning Read! Will You Be Able To Put It Down?
This summer, I’ve done the most reading of any summer since college. I really have enjoyed picking up the latest books and diving back into reading for pleasure. It’s such a great escape from my daily routines at home. Just added to my reading list is Random House’s “The Marriage Pact”
Typically, I read when I travel, but since we’ve been home a lot this summer, I decided it was time to get back into a routine of reading more books. It never hurts to have a good cup of coffee, or wine in hand while reading.
Do you enjoy reading? Escaping into gripping novels? This book, “The Marriage Pact “, is a fast paced, page turning novel, and a psychological suspense. Admittedly, some of my other guilty pleasures include watching a lot of crime shows so adding this suspense thriller to my summer reading list is a no brainer.
We recently adopted a chihuahua puppy who needed a home, thanks to my teen begging us. I’m getting my fair share of puppy duty, plus outdoor reading.
I’ll keep you posted as I read more but, let me tell you what I do know about this summer’s next hottest new book!
The novel is by the best selling author, Michelle Richmond. The book starts off with a newly wed couple who were given an enticing wedding gift, then deciding to join an exclusive and mysterious group, known only as The Pact. “Alice and Jake are the picture perfect couple… [and] The goal of The Pact seems simple: to keep marriages happy and intact”.
What happens when one of the marriage partner’s breaks the rules? What will you find in this domestic suspense?
“The Marriage Pact” is similar to “Girl on the Train” and “Gone Girl” neither of which I have read. Although I did see the suspenseful, thriller movie version of Gone Girl. Covering my eyes in several parts.
