Dear Creatives, I thought I would share a few free classes being offered this year at Craftsy. I know I have signed up for a few classes now that Sammie is back to school will be trying to add that into my schedule along with taking a few short Illustrator classes. This year is all about focusing for me! Anything that is going to help me push the creative envelope. I am happy to share with you a few free online classes I hope you enjoy trying a free class here or there to help you learn something new. Here is a  Free Online Sewing Class

Sew along with quilting legend Laura Nownes as she teaches you how to make 10 blocks of various sizes, including LeMoyne Star, Tumbling Blocks, Strippy Spools and Offset Log Cabins. You’ll learn techniques such as 45-degree and 60-degree triangles, partial seams, Y-seam construction and curved piecing. In the fall, you’ll learn two fun filler blocks, then assemble the quilt and finish with Laura’s easy mitered binding.

Enroll FREE (  any time during the year and get instant access to all the lessons you’ve missed. As with all Craftsy courses, you can take the class at your own pace, and you get a great online community to share ideas with. I have plenty of scraps to try this class & can’t wait to get started as I had wanted to do it last year but, didn’t set the time aside.
