I love it when a home has an inviting smell. Have you ever heard of Real Estate agents bringing baked cookies to give a home that inviting fresh baked smell when they are selling the? I wish it was that way every time I walked into a home, even my own but, without the temptation to eat cookies. Well, I have to tell you of something better at giving you an inviting smell! Hold on!

Some of us have small kids still in diapers, then there are those who have teens who just eat and leave their food wrappings in their rooms and other’s have pets like our family. What I’m getting at is these are all smells we become use to. When someone visits your home you might not even realize they smell something  and you don’t because your #noseblind. We were asked if we would take the Febreze noseblind test.

We decided to take  noseblind test and invited a couple of people to our home to see what smells stood out in our home.We made it a movie night with popcorn and to help us with our #noseblind test. We asked our guests to take an initial survey nobody shared others answers.

Next for the noseblind test, before the movie I popped some popcorn to serve everyone. We took another survey and they settled into watching the movie. I love this oldie but, goodie romantic comedy! Do you know what we watched? Then at the end of the movie we took one last survey to complete the #noseblind test.

After the final survey we were able to chat. I wasn’t surprised that dog smell was one of the most prevalent smells in our home. Although we take our dog to the groomers monthly I often see him rolling around in the dry grass and yard outside. Eh hem! I never smell his fur in the house (unless he’s wet) but, like I said I’m used to his pet odor. One person used the restroom just down the hall. They could smell odor from the cat box. Seriously guys, we clean our litter boxes out but, we do have two cats. Enough said! Then there were those lingering food odors!

Let’s just say after listening to everyone talk about odors I was ready to get my home smelling fresh and eliminating odors we have become used to.

I took out my Febreze products and went all out. First in the room to tackle was where the litter boxes were. I plugged in the Febreze Noticeables Warmer I added the Rain Forest / Hibiscus scent. Next I lit the Febreze candle in the living room. I used the Febreze Meadows & Rain fabric refreshener on the dogs bedding in the living room. Then I went around the house spraying Febreze Air Effects, then left it in the bathroom.

I’m in love with Febreze helping me eliminating odors and freshening my home and craft area! Not just masking odors but, getting rid of them. *Noseblindness is simply becoming accustomed to odors around your house to the point where the olfactory nerves in the nose can’t detect certain odors as bad smelling.
