Easy Beef Stew #Recipe
Dear Creatives, I came up with a simple beef stew recipe that you may enjoy. After reading several recipes I decided to try to merge how I make mine, but add some new flair & flavor to it. I hope you try the recipe it’s easy & was a hit with the family. In a few hours with mostly a short prep time & then longer cook time. I love recipes where you can just check on them & do other things, like crafting while your cooking. You are going to have a lovely meal within a few hours! Just add mashed potatoes & serve! This is a one pot meal which is always a favorite for me & so perfect for winter. Just a reminder don’t forget to enter the giveaway while your here, it ends soon!
First dredge your stew meat in flour with pepper. (we used a beef sirloin slab & I cut it in cubes) It was on sale & no other stew meat was available.
On medium heat brown the dredged meat in olive oil, toss in & saute onion & a few pieces of chopped garlic. After meat is browned on all sides & onions cooked then;
Add in 1 beef bullion cube, 1 cup vegetable juice (v8) & 1/2 Marsala wine. Reduce to simmer.
Slice up 1 package mushrooms that have been rinsed & add to pan. Wash & cut up some carrots adding them in along with three sprigs thyme.
Cover & cook until meat is tender about 1 hour or more. Stir occasionally.
Serve on freshly mashed potatoes. Add it to your Ziplist for another day.
