15 Songs Every Kid Should Know CD Release & Review
Do you love sharing music with kids? Love the classic kids songs? Like Skip to My Lou, Wheels on the Bus, Shoo Fly…… Today I am sharing about a new release that is available for kids that I had a chance to preview it is 15 Songs Every Kid Should Know….And will love & more. This CD is perfect for young children & young at heart.
Let me tell you a little about the CD & where you can listen to snippets of it for yourself. First off this CD is created by an award-winning children’t musician & certified music therapist Jeffery Friedberg. He invited some of the best performers of Cajun, bluegrass, rockabilly, jazz, Irish, African, Cuban……..to join him in putting together a collection of songs for the CD. The release date is August 6th.
Disclosure: I did receive a copy of the CD to facilitate the review the opinions are 100% my own.
What I loved about the CD is that each song is done differently exposing your child to different types of music styles and put to the classics we all know & love for kids! As an example the Itsy Bitsy Spider story was told & had jazz music, Shoo Fly was sung with bluegrass, country flair, Froggy Went a Courtin with a spin on a Johnny Cash song style & of course songs with music from the genres that were mentioned before. You’ll probably recognize many of the songs on the CD.
