This china is Gold Castle made in Japan. I love it for its color and for the fact is was my moms. It might of been given to her from my grandma but I am not 100% sure. I know it is a bit worn but I love it all the same. It is demitasse size. Whether for coffee or for tea I hold it dear. I tried to find anything like it on the web with no luck. So if you know more about this china please contact me as I would love to know more. For a tea to drink in this cup I would choose a Darjeeling tea. Darjeeling Tea is the world’s most expensive and exotically flavoured tea. Its flavors change with the seasons. The link takes you to the history should you be inclined to know more. I found this tea quote and I thought I would share it with you.
“A woman is like a tea bag, you can’t tell how strong she is until you put her in hot water.” author unknown
By the way do you like the black leaf or green leaf Darjeeling tea? My favorite is the black leaf.
Should you wish to participate the link to tea cup Tuesday is on the side bar. ~Thanks for stopping by.

It is so special as well, coming from your mother. Now it is worn with memories, and that is the best!
