Happy Friday! I know many are right in the middle of summer travels. We got in a week ago and we are already on the go again to the San Francisco area. I will respond to comments here as quickly as I can around our travel schedule. Also I will drop by sharing your posts as soon as I find a spare moment! We are helping my daughter with a few DIY projects I can’t wait to share them when I get back and have time to create the posts. This is one of those week’s where helping and visiting family has taken me away from the blog but, promise good things are coming! Re-Purpose Old Drawers Into Planters

I just love this idea from Mindi and hope I get a chance to make some for our back porch sometime. She shares what you need and how to make them. You can use pre-cut spindles and the drawers. With a little work and spray paint you can have your own in no time!

DIY Travel Kit No Sew

This is a no sew DIY travel kit but, you can sew with these same directions if you are a sewer. Sahana shares the supply list along with steps to creating your own travel pouch. Perfect for anytime you need to pack up a few things and take it where ever your headed.

DIY Lamp MakeOver

Amy shares just how easy it is to freshen up a dated desk lamp or bedside table lamp. She gave hers some modern touches of gold. You might even find one at a yard sale this summer, grab one and re-purpose it.
