We have a long drive to SF airport and then a 6 hour flight to NYC. Having a teen I know we need to have those snacks handy for long trips. Easy to pack into a snack bag and take along.
Trail Mix Recipe
This is so easy to make I just grabbed my new bag of Viki’s granola* with dried apples, raisins and pecans. I also grabbed mini chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, almonds and peanuts. I was going to add mini marshmallows but, I just ran out. I grabbed soft caramels and cut them in 4. You could use caramel chips. I often use what I have on hand until I stock up again.
When making trail mixes you can use all kinds of ingredients to add to mixture.
