Now that we are well into spring who else is ready get to look at design ideas for their home? Are you ready to work on your home’s easy diy improvement projects and home’s design ideas? I know I am. My design ideas keep growing, despite the fact that we are not quite finished up with a few of our major home projects. Which makes me think, sometimes getting a professional contractor might be a solution to some of our bigger projects.

As some of you know we are in the middle of our bathroom remodel. We live in a climate that gets extremely hot in the summer, and cold in the winter. Sometimes those temperatures reach 110+ degrees for weeks at a time, during summer. We have a bathroom window to replace that isn’t energy efficient. This had me excited to look at Milgard’s quality windows, as I found out that they offer a full lifetime warranty to the original window owner, which includes parts and labor, this isn’t common. Recently I had been on the home decor site Houzz and couldn’t help falling in love with so many of the design ideas for kitchens, living rooms, dining rooms, bathrooms… This got me thinking about how much I’ve wanted to add pretty French doors to our home’s master bedroom. I would love to have access to our backyard from there.

I read the Milgard products are easy to use, having a smooth gliding door system. They open and close easily; especially the Tuscany® Series vinyl product that has their SmartTouch® handle you can open and close with little effort.

All this has me excited about the thought of adding French Door Sliders. Have you ever wanted to add them to your home?

If you are looking for styling tips, ideas and inspiration visit the Milgard blog. While looking at their site’s door series options I saw the best style for us would be a French Door Slider like their Montecito Series®.

All Milgard windows and patio doors are energy efficient in summer to keep you cool and in winter to keep you warm.
