How To Make Blackberry Iced Tea In the Instant Pot

Directions for making Blackberry Tea in the Instant Pot
- Add water, tea bags, and half a cup of blackberries to the Instant Pot. Stir to combine the ingredients. Add the lid and lock it, with the vent to “SEALING”, and set the Instant Pot to the “MANUAL” setting for 5 minutes.
 - While the tea is brewing, make a blackberry honey simple syrup. Add the remaining blackberries, basil, honey, and water to a saucepan. Set the heat to medium. Cook, gently pressing on the blackberries to release their juices. Do this while continually stirring the mixture to combine, for 4-5 minutes. Once the honey is completely melted and the mixture starts to thicken, remove it from the heat and set it aside until needed.
 - When the cooking time on the Instant Pot is complete, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes. Then do a quick release for any remaining pressure.
 - Carefully strain the hot tea mixture with a fine mesh strainer ( I love this mesh strainer from Target). Pour the reserved liquid into a large, heat-resistant pitcher. Then sweeten with the blackberry honey simple syrup to taste. Add fresh lemon juice and combine by stirring.

To serve it, pour it into a glass over ice with fresh blackberries and a spring of fresh basil for garnish. Enjoy a glass of refreshing iced blackberry tea. This is a delicious blackberry sweet tea recipe.
