I have had long hair forever with the exception of times in my twenties where I had the super short hair cut. Although I loved it short back then it was too much up keep for me. As a mom of five I didn’t have time to make it to the salon consistently. But, one thing I learned is good beauty and hair care products are worth their weight in gold. Especially if you have dry, color treated or frizzy hair. You need to good beauty products besides getting a regular haircut. Today I’m sharing our review of Hask haircare products. If you haven’t heard of them stick around to find out.

I live by the ocean and it rarely gets humid where I live. But, when I do get close to either of those conditions my hair puffs up, frizzes and waves like no body’s business. Sammie’s hair is double the trouble having lots of curls, waves and is crazy thick. Top that with dry hair, these haircare products were the perfect thing to try.

There are times we just look like a hot mess. Combing, pulling, tugging, and flattening oh my! Yeah, it’s not pretty until we get pretty. Let me tell you a little bit about Hask and the products we tried, four in all. (They have many more products to fit your needs, if these aren’t the one for you.) We’ll share our thoughts on these hair care beauty products and how they worked for us, what we liked or not.

The difference is the frizzy fly away s are way reduced. Back of head curls reduced. This image is prior to conditioning pack and without shine treatment…See final thoughts>>

Haircare Review

Our final thoughts on the Hask Keratin Haircare Beauty Products:

First off you can see Sammie’s purple dyed hair color is no more. All that’s left is the bleached out highlight lights from where the color used to be. Image one shows how she looked for her school dance with hair blow dried straight, which still has a lot of wave and yes lots of fizziness. No smoothers, hairspray or other products used other than our prior shampoo. Crazy right, besides her hair how she is growing up so fast!

The shampoo really seemed to tame her curls quite a bit especially in the back of her head. The day of the photo it was pretty windy and you can see it’s less frizzy. No editing was done other than size, exposure.

The first time I tried the shampoo and conditioner. I used too much conditioner. My hair felt sticky when wet but, fine when dry. I just could tell that it was too much. The next time I shampooed I washed twice to make sure to get out excess conditioner. Then only used a pea size of the conditioner. Much, much better. Sammie thought they worked fine.

I really like the smell and feel of my hair after adding the shine treatment. You can use a small amount on wet or dry hair.

  • The shampoo feels good, smells good, lathers well and does a good job. The conditioner works great, just use a tiny amount. I can see going through the shampoo faster than the conditioner. But, that’s not uncommon. It left our hair soft, less frizzy.
  • We also tried the shine treatment and conditioner.
  • Now, if you have very tight curls, or extra curly hair this is not the same thing as getting a Keratin Treatment at the salon. Results may vary.
  • If your looking for non Keratin Products Hask has plenty to pick from
