We love to watch movies with the kids, especially in the summer when it gets too hot to be outdoors. It can be the perfect family entertainment for down time too. There’s a new release we had the chance to see MAX2 White House Hero, on DVD. Today we are sharing what this movie is about and we also have a giveaway of a copy of the Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital HD movie of Max2 White House Hero.

Our thoughts on MAX2 White House Hero

MAX2 White House hero is rated PG for mild action peril scenes, it’s from the producers of Marley And Me. Movie run time is 85 minutes. You’ll recognize several actors in this family movie. The movie starts out with Max heading to the White House to help out. He’s making a splash with everyone, especially the president’s son.

The president’s son TJ has to entertain a foreign leaders daughter Alex, instead of going to a friends party. They find out they have a lot in common. The trouble starts to ensue when they lock up Max and decide to skip the president’s party, by sneaking out.

There is a scene after the kids escape, get on a school bus; The scene continues, heading into the night and there is an attempt to snatch the kids; this scene it might scare younger children. But, Max comes to the rescue, the kids run off. There are a few more peril scenes in the movie so, you can see why it got a PG rating.

We think this is an entertaining family movie that many ages can enjoy but, agree if you have younger kids preview the movie knowing what scenes to avoid and watch it with them. The movie is definitely geared towards the pre-tween, tween crowd. Everyone will love Max, he is definitely the hero of this movie!

Duty calls again, and our hero dog Max returns to action in “Max 2: White House Hero.” His new assignment brings him to Washington, D.C. to serve on the U.S. president’s Secret Service detail. When a foreign leader arrives with his precocious daughter Alex (Francesca Capaldi), tensions arise between both countries. First Son TJ (Zane Austin), along with Max and Alex, uncover a dangerous plot that puts both kids and both nations in jeopardy. A highly-sensitive mission will push Max’s specialized skills, intelligence and loyalty to the test.
