Women’s Fashion Trends The New Necktie Blouse
Saturday’s I’ll be bringing you a quick glimpse into women’s fashion trends and other current styles or finds I’m loving. Don’t we all love seeing what’s currently trending for the new season? I know I love seeking out great clothes. Even if I don’t always need a new outfit. It’s fun to look and see what my favorites might be for the upcoming season.
I also love seeking out what’s trending for Sammie. Sometimes this will be a mix of Mom/daughter trends. I must admit there are times we equally love something. When we purchase the same item we call them our matchy match items. But, Sammie balks if we both wear them on the same day. Or laughs and say oh, well whatever.

What’s hot for fall right now are necktie blouses. I don’t know that I’ve been a huge fan but, I do remember taking a family portrait in one when my older kids were younger. Boy, that might date me! Any how these are the “new” necktie blouses. I’m seeing that these could be a bit more of my style or possibly yours. I do prefer the necktie blouses with the skinny tie. Do you have a preference? Have you ever worn a necktie blouse?

These are versions that we think might just work for us this season if we have something to attend where we need to dress things up a bit. We’ll look to these as a starting point. Now, for me I think the Michael Kors Ruffle Necktie Tank. I might pair them with a dress jean or pant vs skirt. Which is your pick?
This Alice + Olivia Treena 3/4-Sleeve Blouse w/Oversized Tie, Black/White • Alice + Olivia • $295 reminds me of something my mom would wear to teach in. But, paired with leather pants gives it a whole new meaning.
Statement heels are also in. I have to say I’m totally in love with them. I’ve been a fan since way back in the 70’s, she coughs. Here’s what I love about fashion. Each generation of fashion designers bring it back better!
