Part I: Crafting Your Own Grimoire

A grimoire is a personal journal of your magical practice. You don't need to be a witch to enjoy getting creative and making a spellbook journal! Are you ready to make one? See this post (with a video tutorial) on How to Make a Spellbook Journal: A Grimoire Printable from Etsy! Get creative and make a witchy scrapbook or journal for the season. It was so easy, I used a printable kit. Below are even more journaling ideas for now, Halloween, fall, and beyond. You can use these ideas for your journal during any season.

  • Moon Phases Tracking: Draw (or print a moon) the moon phase we are in. Fill it in each night to track its phases. Jot down in the journal how each phase makes you feel.
  • Scrapbook or Junk Journal a Memory: Use an empty page to tape in a special memory from the season, like a dried leaf from a hike, a ticket stub from a haunted house, or a photo from a cozy night in. This is on the lines of junk journaling.

I purchased The Green Witch Sticker Book to add to my spellbook journal and junk journal pages. It has 600 enchanting stickers inspired by Green magic, and the illustrations are so pretty.
