Dear Creatives, This week has flown by! With Halloween right around the corner & all the creative goodies out there, right now it is so easy to be inspired! I came across a few things I thought I would share with you & then onto Feature Friday.

TonyaStaab.com

First up if you are anything like me this year life, procrastination or just plain working has gotten the better of you & we are still needing to work on a kids costume. This tutorial may just serve up the answer! Simplicity, fun & with a big Super Hero Impact served up by Tonya featuring her super hero “Super Flynn”!

I could use some of his super powers this week! By simply adjusting colors & initials this tutorial could easily suit a girl super hero! To see a feature from Fox 5 San Diego with lots of costume inspiration check out Tanya’s post here to see the amazing ideas! I think one of the show stoppers was a Wizard of Oz house costume to see the tutorial visit here!

Cinderella Dress

As Rachel Zoe would say, ” shut the front door!” This Princess Cinderella is “bananas” !

Cinderella Dress

Sew Fantastic

Calling all princess s! This super cute Cinderella Halloween dress was made by Sew Fantastic & that she does. To see this dress, a ribbon rose tutorial & a sewing tutorial for bias tape…just give her a visit! I am super pleased she linked up one of her creative projects. I can always use some sewing tips! She’s a mom with a family of 3 living every day to the fullest and embracing every adventure that comes their way and basically loving life! Now every princess could use a cake lollipop….

Cake Lollipops

Krissy’s Creations

Krissy is baking up some sweet treats &  sharing recipes on her site! I always wondered how to make these cake lollipops! This week she also shared how to make a wonderful looking Povitica bread. She has the full tutorialand step by step photos, you won’t want to miss it! Her recipe index is inspiring. Krissy gets her inspiration from her everyday life, her husband, her family, the grocery store, and all the wonderful food blogs she reads online. She says, “I probably spend more time looking on other foodie blogs than I do my own.” “This is what the food community is about – To be inspired by those around you.” She finds most of her best recipes through the online food blog community.

And a big thank you to everyone who entered last week! To visit their posts just see the link at the bottom of this post!

  1. Thank you so much for featuring our Wizard of Oz house costume! Tonya’s “Super Flynn” was so cute at the Fox 5 shoot. And by the way, I LOVE that pumpkin photograph. Our whole family (including the baby) happens to have matching Chucks. I think we just may have to recreate this photo, family-style…
