Recently we went to help one of my older daughters while she went on a anniversary weekend. Since we don’t have fashion malls in our town I decided to take Sammie for a little back to school shopping. We hit an outlet mall and one other mall. We had a list of things she needed and tried to stick to it for the most part. The sales are big right now with all the summer fashions being cleared out for fall. Woven in with that is a mix of new fall fashions popping up.

I can’t wait to take some photos and share some of Sammie’s fashion picks. Compared to last years growth spurt where nothing fit her, this year she didn’t need as much. This was great for our budget but, she did manage to pick up a few extra things. We hit Pac Sun who was having a mega summer sale. Buy one summer tee get three free! Another place she really scored was Hot Topic. It was buy one item get the second 50% off.

We hit the outlet mall and went to the Van’s store. Her Vans were $35. Compared to the $75. where we live plus it gave her an additional pair of clearance Vans at 50% off. Which equaled two pairs for $55. Still saving me $25. from the price of our local shoe store. 

• When your shopping online or offline be sure to take advantage of those fashion deals you see going on with the stores. All those savings can really add up, especially if your working on a budget.

• Grab tops on clearance that you can layer under jean jackets and sweaters
• Take advantage of pre season prices and bogos 
• Look for basics to get you through until the next big sales pop up
• Wait until we hit the back to school and early fall fashion sales for really stocking up
• Go for quality over quantity
