BacktoSchool Multiply Your Style: Kids Rockin’ Runway #myONstyle Event
It’s that time to start thinking about back to school fashions for the kids. What better way to kick off the season than a fashion runway event for kids!? With kids having the chance to get a voucher, pick out a new outfit & then Rock the Runway in them! We were lucky enough to able to attend & capture just some of the fun, celeb sightings & even find out more about a great organization, Baby2Baby! The Multiply Your Style event was held in Santa Monica, CA at the Promenade this past Saturday August 3rd.
This event blog post is a sponsored post on behalf of DailyCandy and the brand who hosted the event. In attendance was Jennette McCurdy & Ariana Grande from Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat who hosted, announced, danced, & had photo op’s with kids.
Celebrity sightings including some of my favorite’s, Rachel Zoe & Family and Modern Family’s Julie Bowen & kids. Both attended onsite to support Old Navy’s partnership with Baby2Baby, (Baby2Baby helps collect baby gear & clothing for babies & children up to the age of 12 year old).
Kids who had signed up (with their guardians), each got a voucher & canvas bag to pick out an Old Navy outfit of their choice. The event was set up with foods, treats & drinks. At noon they grabbed their spot to walk the runway in style.
At the event was 10 year old DJ Fulano, spinning music. First kids climbed up into a bed jumping out of a pillow area into a cereal bowl of foam, hopping hopscotch, spinning spinners, sliding down multiple slides, into Sam & Cat’s bounce house then sliding down to the fashion runway. Then off to rock the runway in style!
When Sammie came down the runway dancin’ to the beats, she was asked, “what was her favorite piece of the outfit?”, she replied, “the pink pants”. When asked her favorite color, she said, “blue”. Then asked who should we thank for these great clothes, & her reply, “Old Navy!”
There was plenty of juice, water, snacks & treats along the way. Even some being passed out while waiting in line for their chance to rock the runway. We had great time at Old Navy’s Kid’s Rockin’ Runway event.

- 7/31 – 8/14, kids ages 6-12 (or their parents) can enter at www.nick.com/oldnavy for a chance to win a trip to LA to shop with Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, stars of Nickelodeon’s Sam & Cat
- Trip includes travel and hotel for four, a $1,000 Old Navy shopping spree with the stars of Sam & Cat, $500 spending money
