Quick Family Breakfasts: Quaker Steel Cut Oatmeal Review & Recipes
You know how I’m on this big kick about starting my day off with breakfast along with my coffee. Well, I had the chance to try Quaker’s Steel Cut Quick 3 Minute Oatmeal which is perfect for our quick family breakfast line up. I tried the brown sugar and cinnamon flavor. Seriously they are two of my favorite flavors. My son used to make fun of me when he was a teen and probably still does, there goes mom with her brown sugar and cinnamon! Into the coffee, in the fresh baked apples from off the tree, into the coffee cakes….
You get the idea. For me, it was a no brain er to pick the flavor brown sugar and cinnamon of the Quaker Steel Cut Oatmeal to try as one of our quick family breakfasts. Can 3 minute quick oatmeal be as good as cooking oats on the stove? After trying these I seriously think yes they can. That is what I loved most about this oatmeal that I did enjoy it enough to share. Originally I wasn’t even sure I’d like was the steel cut oat texture.

I love a hot bowl of oatmeal in the morning, especially when the weather is so cold. I’ve tried Steel cut oatmeal, but it was another brand. Definitely tastes more wholesome.
Hi Stacie, This is the first time I’ve tried Steel Cut oatmeal I really did enjoy it & I’m finding other recipes to incorporate & jazz them up!
I’m going to have to try this! I’ve used steel cut oats in an overnight oats recipe but I didn’t realize they made them in handy packets.
I really don’t make steel cut oats very often… but I should! I actually prefer the “nutty” flavour of steel cut over regular oats.
