Do you have to be artistic to use this book? Or a seasoned journaler to use this workbook?

No! This workbook has plenty of prompts for exploration, writing, coloring pages, creative abstract painting, and spaces for decoupage or scrapbooking. It’s all about using the prompts for creative play, journaling, gratitude journaling, and exploring your artist side/creativity.

Personally, I do not think the book’s workbook pages will hold up for watercolor, acrylics, or inks. That is unless the water (or inks) are lightly used. But, with that, you can use this workbook alongside your art papers and mixed media pads. (98lbs). Or Moleskine art journals. This will help keep the paper from curling when using “wet” paints…This is just one option if you want to keep your book nice.

I do think that this is perfect for gel pens, markers, washi tape, pencil drawing, mixed media (with light use of water or light glue), and pasting collage papers or magazine papers… You will even find a few beautiful coloring pages for adults inside the book.
