Hostess Gift Ideas
Dear Creatives, I know this is the time of year families start to travel a bit more. Visiting & staying with family is part of the fall & holiday season. So when I saw a few of these ideas it rang a bell hostess gifts time! What are your favorite fall scents? Cinnamon, pumpkin, orange spice, vanilla….Why not create a jar filled with them as a hostess gift for any of the gatherings you are going to this fall. Sweet, sentimental & full of nostalgia…Candy Corn in jars with ribbon is a simple & colorful solution to the hostess gift.
I have always loved giving a reusable basket with a nice wine. I love the idea of adding caramels & a few sunflowers. For the nut lover how about making some Spiced Pecans? Spiced Pecan Recipe
Over fruit or a ice cream lovers topping this Caramel-Vanilla Burbon Sauce sounds like the perfect hostess gift. I have found jars like this when buying yogurt. So you could use a recycled, cleaned jar, find silver spoons at a yard sale & top with a pretty vintage fabric!
I know I am not hosting Thanksgiving this year so one or two of these gifts will have to come with me for the hostess! & when I traveled to family this past week for a lovely baby shower given for one of my older daughter’s I gifted my hostess with some of the decorated jars I made. She could put flowers in them, candy or leave them empty. You can see them here & how to.I will be doing a post with fall potpourri recipes so stay tuned!
