One thing I love about the holidays is coming up with great gifts & wrapping them up special! Leaving gift recipients excited in anticipation of what’s in the gift ! I was excited go to Walgreens to see all the possibilities for gift wrapping. I think you’ll love their wrapping paper selections as much as I did. You can really get creative with wrapping up your holiday packages by using simple touches! Let me show you why I loved Walgreens for this seasons holiday gifting, along some pretty packing ideas that will suit your entire family down to your pets.

I have a big family that’s getting even bigger. Wrapping up the holidays is no easy task. I love using creative touches like these mini pine cones I picked up in a bulk pack. They were actually ornaments with gold ribbon hangers I tied together & taped to the package.

I decided to preview ideas for potential gift items for other family members & start on my holiday gift list. Online I found you can easily sign up for Walgreens Balance Rewards. I decided to sign up right then & it was so quick & easy! Just another way to save & earn rewards!

We grabbed our Walgreens Holiday Guide which is packed full of coupons for snipping & saving & headed to the store. Luckily for me my favorite Walgreens is nearby in the next town a simple scenic drive has me singing with Sammie as we head down to gather the supplies for our creative gift ideas & gift wrapping supplies. Singing carols is one of our favorite things to do to get into the spirit of giving. What’s yours?

More easy ideas are these drink wrapping solutions. Just drop in your favorite beverages. Walgreens has these Reindeer Brew carriers & wine/cocktail bags. Oh, so fun! Add sparkling cider… I also found this Duck Dynasty cup & added a gift of a Walking Dead figurine & candy, topped with tissue plus candy canes.

We are having a woodland themed Christmas.The brown paper is mail packaging. In addition to the mini pine cones I added twine & twigs, along with the Merry Christmas glitter tags. Who doesn’t love a little glittery sparkle? The Santa wrapping and deer wrapping papers were part of a buy three for $10 promotion for Walgreens Balance Rewards members.What a deal!! & I even added gold garland to dress it up a bit.

The gift wrapping is all about the details. It can be as easy as ribbon or putting together unexpected elements! I just loved the glittery mitten tags too!

For our dog’s box of goodies I used a cookie box sold in three packs & added his dog bones & tied one on top.

Now for the final touches & last minute ideas. I love using decorated containers & twine. There is always something pretty about having a few gifts laid out by Santa that aren’t fully wrapped. I do love wrapping things up as I get them but, I don’t do all my gifts in advance it’s almost impossible unless I was to start in January! lol
