Weekly Meal Planner Printable

I designed a new set of pretty weekly planner printables! They are designed for fall. One of the printables is a weekly meal planner and shopping list. And two neutral sage green versions. I have also included a free printable bonus. A printable granola recipe.
Meal Planning Tips
My biggest tip is to clean out the fridge and look in the pantry before planning. You will know what you have on hand, and what you need to restock (in general, as in repeat items such as coffee, milk, canned goods…). Then start planning.
- Go to your grocery app and see what is on sale for the week. If you don't use an app. use a flyer from the grocery store.
- Find the (in-app) coupons and rewards available (and in apps like Ibotta).
- Do you need recipe ideas? Go to our recipe index, Pinterest, and reach for your favorite cookbook or cooking magazines.
- Grab a few recipes you want to make; those will use ingredients on sale and food or pantry staples you have on hand.
- Start planning what days you will cook what recipe. Grab quick and easy recipes for days you are busy. Do you want to cook a complicated or new recipe? For recipes that require longer cooking times, consider making them on weekends or days off.
If you have leftovers, can you make that into a different meal? Do you give yourself a day off from cooking? I do, once a week. We either eat leftovers or grab takeout.
Pick a day off -When you are busy, have an appointment, or when the kids have sports…
