Dear Creatives, Today I’ll be at the blogging conference #Blogalicious12 in Las Vegas. Be sure to follow me @DearCreatives on twitter to keep up to date! But, wanted to share a quick Spotlight Inspiration post I put together prior to leaving & then next week be ready for a full post of weekend inspiration since I’ll be back!
This week’s Spotlights
Anna Marie with her crochet bookends! Anna Marie writes the blog AnnaMarie’s Haakblog She shares this wonderful tutorial for free via her blog. Her blog is easily translated into English & she has links to PDF pattern in English. Her blog is all about crochet. Be sure to check out her site & see all the great posts & link up inspiration too.
This project tutorial was shared by Renae of KingslyCorner.blogspot I love it when you can bring trash to treasure & when it comes to decor pillows they get ruined, fabric choices are constantly changing & things can even be seasonal. When I saw this simple diy tutorial that is perfect for the beginner or seasoned sewer I had to share it. Renae is a mom blogger who loves to read, create things, bake bread among a whole lot of other things. I especially liked her 72 hour emergency kit post with a breakdown of supplies. We should all make one up especially those (like me who live in earthquake areas, or flood zones)
Yes, its time to think scary, creepy along with being on the look out for Halloween ideas, tutorials & easy diy’s like this one from Tee Creations! Tee says she is impulsive, open minded, adaptable & is an impatient person who enjoys mixed media paper art & crafts. Especially altered tags, artist trading cards, & anything you can alter! She also shares where to get the potion label right on the post! Perfect for scaring up some Halloween decor & fun around your house.
Be sure to visit around, make new friends & see more great projects & recipes… Be sure to link up! See you all next week, with some blogging news from the conference! Have a great weekend!!
Now it’s your turn to be in the Spotlight!
