Chicken Sliders Easy No-fuss Tasty Chicken Sliders
Chicken sliders are an easy, no-fuss appetizer! With a few ingredients, chicken breasts (boneless & skinless), chicken broth, and Millers Banana Pepper BBQ sauce… you will have the most flavorful, tender, tasty, sweet, and spicy chicken for the sliders.
This is the perfect appetizer recipe for your next game day or party! You will also need soft rolls and thinly sliced cheese… The short list of ingredients is below.
This chicken appetizer recipe is quick to prep, after cooking quick to assemble, and quick to finish and serve your guests. The chicken is cooked in a slow cooker, mixed with sauce, and finished by melting cheese over the top of the chicken inside the sliders.

For me, when entertaining I love recipes that are no fuss, prepped in advance, and then popped in the oven to finish and serve.
Sweet and Spicy Chicken Sliders
Chicken slider appetizers are easy to make. This recipe for chicken sliders can be made for a crowd by doubling the recipe.
Cooking the chicken in the broth with the sauce will give you flavorful, tender, and forkable chicken meat to add to the sliders.
The flavor king goes to Miller’s Banana Pepper Habenero sauce. But, if you want a milder flavor they have that too. And if you’re going to make your sliders hot, sweet, and spicy pick their Hot sauce.
Ingredients
Ingredients for easy chicken sliders.
- Chicken Breasts (boneless, skinless) 1.5 pounds
Or if in a hurry shred a rotisserie chicken! - 8-ounce can of Chicken Broth
- 2 jars of Miller’s Banana Pepper Habanero Sauce
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- Hawaiian Rolls (or your favorite rolls)
- Pepper Jack Cheese (slices)
- Butter (melted)
Get additional jars of Miller’s Banana Pepper sauces; in mild, habanero, and hot to use for a dipping sauce! Garnish with minced chives to add a touch of color and additional flavor.
In a hurry? Pick up a rotisserie chicken and shred the chicken meat, then combine and follow the directions.

Easy Chicken Sliders
How To Make Chicken Sliders
- Unwrap the chicken breasts and place it in the slow cooker.
- Top the chicken breasts with, salt and pepper, half to a full jar of Miller’s Banana Pepper Habanero Sauce, and the chicken broth. Cook in the slow cooker on high for four hours.
- Remove the chicken from the broth (or shred the rotisserie chicken) and shred it in a bowl, using a fork. Add 1/2-1 jar of additional sauce to the chicken (you want it saucy but not overly wet).
- Slice the bread/rolls down the center with a serrated knife. Place the shredded chicken on the bottom rolls (on a sheet pan). Add the sliced cheese to the top and place the top of the rolls over them.
- Melt the butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds (or less). Brush it over the tops of the rolls. Add the prepared chicken sliders in the oven until the tops are slightly browned and the cheese is melted.
Garnish with minced chives and serve with dipping sauces. Enjoy! Double or triple the recipe for more servings.

- Ensure the chicken is covered in broth with sauce (when making additional servings). This will keep the chicken moist and flavorful when done cooking.
Short on time? Use a rotisserie chicken or prepared, cooked chicken breasts for the recipe, and follow the rest of the instructions to make the sliders.
