I came across this via Pinterest & it caught my eye because it is something that is easy to do, brings nature indoors & would be perfect for right now through Thanksgiving, past Christmas, into winter! It is the perfect time of year to be walking & gathering natures gifts where we live.
I just fell in love with this idea when I saw it. So whether I pick up a little chalk board or use my left over chalk paint I promise to share mine when I make it! In case you want to make one just visit Crafts Unleashed to see the how to.
Now onto the Inspiration Spotlight!
Turkey Silverware Pocket Tutorial
Thanks to Crystal at Make It Easy Crafts with her Thanksgiving pocket tutorial. This is a perfect way to add a little flair to a kids school party or even make these for your holiday table. Looks can be varied by use of fabrics & materials, its oh so easy.
This Owl Burlap diy was submitted from Kathy from Life On LakeShore Drive & is another great idea that could be done by older kids for fall decor or over Thanksgiving break & is a seasonal project that would last longer than the holiday since the birds aren’t turkeys but owls. ( Sorry turkey lovers) I think that if you use felt vs fabric you can just eliminate having to use fabric stiffener. This is a project I would love to do with Sammie as you could make a smaller versions easily allowing kids to even give it as a gift.
Now its your turn to inspire us! (for some reason the post didn’t publish on Friday, so sorry I had to go out of town prior & never had a chance to see if it published!)
