Homemade Dog Treats

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup corn meal
  • 3 bananas
  • 2 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups fresh chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup organic or unfiltered apple juice

Instructions

  1. Mash bananas in a bowl, add all wet ingredients in a bigger bowl
  2. Measure out all dry ingredients
  3. Slowly add dry mix to the wet mixed items stir
  4. Then add chopped or shredded carrots
  5. Next Roll into a ball
  6. Then with an floured area & floured rolling pin roll out dough
  7. Use a shape cutter to cut your dog cookie shapes
  8. Bake at 350 Until done & hard. I flipped mine about half way. Our oven runs hot but, it took about 18- to 20 min. approx. on each side. Cool completely on a rack. Store in a plastic container or glass jar.
