Dear Creatives, Triple digit weather here this past two weeks & no air conditioning! Whew! But, Sammie & I did manage to get to make freezer jam. I can’t wait to tell you more about it & share some photos! My neighbors gave us fresh peaches how could I say no? Today will be a new spot light inspiration link up. It is only the third one so it would be great if when you link up you can share a link back on your post or add the blog button on your blog. The grab buttons are in the drop down menu under about or via link-up. Today I am going to share some easy diy projects that I came across, along with the spotlight inspiration.

With back-to-school coming up this project will be topping my list. I hate having to hunt through the house looking for school library books or even the library books we borrow for reports or pleasure. I can see making a cute bucket & coordinating it with Sammie’s room & this becoming a solution to endless hunts. Sue from The very busy kindergarten shares how to create this easy diy!

I love these simple bookmarks & they look so easy to make! Visit Life Through the Lens for this Fabric Bookmark Tutorial.

There always comes a time for a new ironing board cover & I have to admit not liking the  fabrics on store bought ones. So when I saw this little ironing board cover tutorial I had to share it with you. Not only that but, Lisa makes & sells the cutest patterns for coin purses, purses, bags….You can visit Lisa at u-handbag.typepad

Today in the spotlight!

Katie at  Funhomethings.com actually had done some canning, she put her daughter to work helping! Katie’s post has a recipe for strawberry jam & links to more helpful canning info. The link above takes you to her post & recipe. I think you’ll love some of her recipes like the Garden Zucchini Bake. Katie is a Wife. Momma. Crafter. Southern cooking enthusiast. Lover of all things Pinterest. Katie  is a newer blogger so go give her a blogger welcome!

Be sure & check out the link up page from navigation bar to see the other inspirations such as diy laundry soap, making a bracelet….
