Dear Creatives, Ready for the weekend? Crafting & getting creative might not be topping my list this week due to the up coming trip, but I have a few things to share with you that might just have you ready to pull out your crafting stuff, sewing machine & get your creativity going. Not to mention that in one week & two days we hit October! For me that makes it feel like I can pull out the fall decor & start crafting up a storm! How about you? Fall is also a great time to learn a sewing project, crafting project or two! Or just dive back into sewing & crafting if you haven’t in a while. I’ll be bookmarking these crafts & sewing project for when I have time!

Now onto the Spotlight Inspiration!

Classic Pin Cushion Tutorial

What I love about last week’s Inspiration Spot Link-Up is that Jill shared a tutorial. Maybe some of you remember her from a giveaway I had last winter? She created the cutest fiber snow men! & how one of my lucky readers won them!

Jill is a fiber artist with a brand new site! Here is a little about her & her site: There are so many ideas yet to be designed. There are so many fabrics yet to cut. So many stitches to stitch. Through the years Jill has built up a lot of tools and techniques. Yet, there are so many things to learn. She is loving every minute of this phase in her artistic life. Jill hopes that joy is evident in her work. I think it is! From Simple to oh, so special you can make them too with this tutorial! Jill has me wanting to bring out my embroidery items & get handy with the sewing needle. How about you?

I mean really can you ever have enough pin cushions sewers & crafters? I always seem to be hunting mine down!I am just in love with this baby blue cashmere & all the details. PS don’t have time to make one? Jill has an Etsy Shop Go show her some love when your done here today & visit her new site & shop!

Cake Stand Tutorial

Here is a super tutorial from Laurel at  A Bubbly Life. Laurel is a new Mom, attempting to pretty up her space, cook delicious food, loves red wine & bubbly & wearing pretty shoes that make her feet hurt. She shares Mommyhood, Design, Foodie, Fashion, & Bubbly Inspiration! You will love her Diy cake stands & her thrifty way of making them. I can see finding the items & using fall colors, winter colors, party theme colors……Don’t forget to visit Laurel & see all the goodness she is serving up!

What will you be cooking, crafting or sewing this weekend?

Now it’s your turn to Link-up, anything you like! Who knows maybe you’ll be in the spotlight next week!
