Blogging & Blogging Introduction to Just Jenni Style

Photography by Claire & Sam Make-up & hair Jenni Huse

Dear Creatives, A little honesty here….Do you ever have times when everything you have almost ready to post just isn’t quite right for the day? Where you had a week you just wanted to sweep under the rug? I gave myself a time out yesterday having had a migraine. I took some medicine, helped the kiddo with some homework & laid on the sofa. Little did I know that I would fall asleep, be fixing her dinner at 7pm then tucking her in & cleaning up just to jump into bed again. (the Mr. at band practice after work) A whole afternoon ca-putz! No finishing blog posts, editing photographs no being prepared for today. I have used up my pre-written posts from having the flu zip through my house. Enough said!

I wanted to share pretty with you! I also wanted to share crafty with you! I wanted to create something new this week other than my digital scrapbook pages for my giveaway. (which by the way is easy to enter & in the previous post) But, alas it is what it is! Its nice to pretend that we are invincible at times when it comes to life & blogging. Then there are times when we aren’t & we can’t push ourselves any further. Our bodies along with mind says slow down or I am stopping you dead in your tracks! You should of listened! I think as women, mom’s & bloggers that is just what we do push ourselves! Have you ever encountered any blogging hiccups?

So today although late with my blogging post, I will just share a few things I had been working on that are coming up along with an introduction!

  • A movie post
  • An easy diy post
  • A recipe post ( & some news along with it)
  • An award post
  • & of course Feature Friday tomorrow (there is still time to submit if you like to! Link -up)

Of course I am not leaving you without some inspiration to breath in! & the  introduction…..

Sibu Beauty

Dear Creatives, I am always looking for great beauty products to keep my skin looking healthy & fresh. When I was asked if I wanted to try one of Sibu’s beauty products I first went to their Sibu Beauty  site to see what they were all about. I loved finding out they were organic, cruelty free, environmentally sustainable & used Fair Trade practices…. Sibu Beauty is premium skin care products made from the Himalayan sea buckthorn berry. Known as the “beauty berry” across Europe and Asia, sea buckthorn contains over 190 bioactive compounds that restore, revitalize, and protect youthful beauty.

Sibu Beauty

These hardy berries help nourish skin, hair, and nails with powerful antioxidants and essential fatty acids, including the rare Omega 7 – a key building block to healthy skin, hair, and nails, and also aids digestion and may help you maintain a healthier weight. Sibu Beauty features luxurious natural skin cleansers, moisturizes, and other topical treatments as well as dietary supplements that beautify and protect from the inside-out. If you would like to read more about Sibu Beauty products & information this you can with this informative article.

Facial Cleanser

I have been using Sibu’s sea buckthorn facial cleanser for a few weeks now. I have to say I love it! It has a fresh citrus y smell almost grapefruit like, but very mild. You just take a bit into the palm of your hands and lather the facial cleanser up, apply, wash & then rinse. It rinses so clean with a fresh, moist feel left on your skin & has no residue. I am always careful with trying new products as I have sensitive skin, but this has been an amazing product & I am so pleased with the results!

  • Leaves skin looking and feeling radiant and refreshed
  • Removes excess oil and impurities
  • Contains micro-particles for a gentle exfoliation
  • Great for removing make-up
  • Non-foaming gel formula for all skin types

Their natural body & facial scrubs are the mixture of a finely ground natural grains combined with unique fruits and herbs indigenous to Southeast Asia is what sets this extraordinary spa product apart from the rest. Escape from everyday pollution and stress through your own unique home spa experience using the calming spa traditions of the Southeast Asian culture.

Siam Natural Soap

I was able to try the Malva Nut & Honey Herbal Body Scrub. The scrub will also turn to soap when you rinse off so no need to do a face wash when you use it! Malva Nut is considered a fruit in Southeast Asia. It is also very popular in Hawaii. The fruit has a tremendous anti-oxidant  which helps keeping your youth. The scrubs are high in fiber which Southeast Asian s believe it helps & strengthens the elasticity beneath your skin in turn which helps prevent the cellulite look on your skin.  This particular body scrub is also made from finely ground cereal seeds of oat, wheat & rice to name a few with a touch of salt just for preservative purposes. These proteins also help nurturing the health of your skin.

When I used it on my skin it doesn’t take much product to get excellent results the scrub was smooth but, with bits of grains  & as you scrub turns into a lathering silky feeling soap. “Amazing” When your skin is completely dry it is left feeling refreshed, clean & rejuvenated. The Malva Nut has a very soft nutty, sweet smell!  I can’t wait to try more of their products!

I can see using this product daily on my hands too to combat the washing & dry winter conditions.  I look forward to trying Siam Natural Soap’s moisturizers & other products.
