Dear Creatives, Hello a bit late today! We are getting ready for quite a few things around here! Including a yard sale & some Cinco de Mayo fiesta time fun! Dear Creatives, I did get to work on my wreath. I started with yarn wrapping around a wire form & added some vintage type printable s . Then I made some little lace roses…. Valentines Day & Spring Wreaths

Dear Creatives, I was thinking about creating a Valentines Day or even spring wreaths. So I was searching ideas to spark my creativity, looking to around what supplies I may have on hand and then see if I need to purchase anything. I came across a few wreath ideas worth sharing. Even if some look seasonal, just know you can change out color, ribbons & such to create a very spring or Valentine Day wreath. This wreath has a kitsch feel to it, I can’t quite pinpoint it but there is something unique about it that I like. I love the colors & that you could use it all year long.

I love branch wreaths, although this might have a holiday feel you can easily incorporate a simple design change as color of eggs to natural & ribbon to give it a more spring feel. You can use grapevine, willow branch, juniper, lilac, fir & manzanita found or purchased when making vine wreaths.

Now this little tutorial may take a little work wrapping the wire, but has sweet results. The step by step tutorial has clear instructions or you can purchase wrapped wire & construct something similar to cut down your time.

Now if you are into vintage, printable s & easy this tutorial is for you! Inspired to make a knock off from Sonoma Williams Wendy from The Shabby Nest decided to save some $$ and make something even better. I hope your inspired by these images, diy’s & tutorials to create your own!

Thanksgiving Day Fun For the Kids

Dear Creatives, I wanted to share a last minute round up of some Thanksgiving fun & games to keep the kids busy while your cooking. I hope you enjoy them. If you are traveling early I wish you a safe journey! First up is this cute tutorial I found & had to share! Something Sammie & I can put together quickly for the smaller guests at Thanksgiving. Then they can assemble with a little help from the bigger kids.

Toddler Approved

The whole tutorial is over at Toddler Approved. This turkey headband is a no sew project! They also have some other fun projects & games if you visit Toddler Approved.

Turkey Pinwheels

How about making some fun Pinwheels with the kids on Thanksgiving! These look super simple & I can image them being a big hit!

Dear Creatives, I wanted to share this free printable game I put together for our holiday gathering & thought you might like to use it for some added family fun time on your Thanksgiving gathering too. I created a printable game I am calling Turkey Talk – Conversation Game. There is 25 questions with an answer sheet. It is family friendly, has questions for both kids & adults. Dear Creatives, Today I am sharing some things to inspire your weekend & although it will probably be busy with preparations for travel & Thanksgiving I hope you find the time to get a chance to enjoy at least one quiet moment for yourself & maybe even time to create a quick craft.

Simple Prints

With this easy grab, download & print you can make a banner or just use one or two or the alphabet letters of Simple Prints printable design. They are ever so cute & colorful designs that you are sure to enjoy! *personal use only Go visit them on Scribed when done here today! & you will have an easy project from Simple Prints! I think my favorite may be the gobble, gobble or fall tree!

Holidash

If you are dashing around looking for a few ways to dress up your table for Thanksgiving these two tutorials on Holidash might be a quick simple fix for your table top showing you how to use a pumpkin for holding your flowers. I have done this but, recommend using a frog or foam inside. You can also line it with Saran wrap or clean out well & wipe with bleach water to help prevent molding if you are making it a few days in advance. The arrangements usually hold up at least a week if the flowers are fresh.

I just love the idea of the gold pumpkins for holding name places. I ‘ll have to save this for a year I am hosting Thanksgiving but, thought you might like these ideas too! What I like about both ideas is that you can make them in advance.
