Recently we received Covergirl’s Intense Me! Liquid Liner and The Super Sizer Mascara both by lashblast. We love trying out new beauty products, especially when they are new to the market. Do you update your makeup stash? You should. Not only is it great to keep up with trends but, it helps you rotate your old cosmetics out! Let me share a few things about these two new Covergirl beauty products.
You know there are times when you just have to glam it up a bit from your very day look and the Super Sizer Mascara is going to provide you with larger than life lashes. We like that! Especially when you wear glasses. You might have seen the ads with Katy Perry wearing the mascara. On Tumblr they are called #LookAtMeLashes she has #LashFame
The reality is we might not be in the spotlight everyday but, when going out on a special date, heading out and about, traveling or a night out on the town, this is when full on make up that includes liner and lashes come in.
Beauty News: CoverGirl’s New Mascara And Eyeliner
They really can complete your makeup looks and transform your eyes!
Here’s the details on how to get the #LashFame look;
Larger Than Life Lashes:
- Start by placing the Lash Styler right at the base of the lashes, use the flat side at the base
- Then comb the volume through from the root to tip, by twirling or rotating as you go.
- create your own style and technique by continuing to sculpt and style the lashes until you reach the super sized, corner to corner volume
- 400% corner to corner volume which will give a dramatic defined eye
Intensify Me! Styling Tips For Cat Eyes Made Easy:
- The new paddle-shaped tip makes a dramatic eye look easy by providing the control of a pencil and the intensity of a liquid liner.
- Get two looks in one, with no mess- thick and dramatic or thin and elegant.
Sammie has almond shaped eyes so to create a little wider look we took the liner and placed the wide tip adding to the line we started with. See next image.
A tip for creating the cat eye look is creating short lines right along your top lids and then angling the end of the line up. Create a mini triangle coming back down toward the lower lid and fill in the lines. You can create the angle line first if you like. The hardest part is always getting the two eyes the same. Just practice! If you’d like your look more dramatic just thicken your lines with the liner slowly building the line thicker until you get the look you like. Qtips come in handy for clean ups.

Yes, you can find out more and see tutorial from the links below too!
Using the Intensify Me wand to the side you can get a wider line which then can create more drama. This is without a finished makeup look and just the products. You need to rotate or comb mascara as you go along, so it doesn’t clump. It goes on easy and can be spread with ease. This is really good voluminous mascara! It almost makes Sammie look like she has fake lashes on! I think if you try either of these products your going to love creating an evening, glam or 60’s retro look. When we have more time we might even put on a full look and share it with you!
